ABOUT

The Society of Women in Space Exploration (SWISE) chapter at San Diego State University is a student organization that strives to promote and encourage women and minorities to pursue careers that support space exploration efforts. We are open to students from all majors to join us in this cause! We are also a chapter of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS), a 501(c)3 non-profit that empowers young people to participate and make an impact in space exploration.

Launched in Spring 2019, SWISE supports women, diversity, and inclusion in space exploration and related fields. Through organization, networking, volunteering and engaging multidisciplinary students, SWISE empowers women to challenge themselves as young professionals and future leaders.
